Interviev with Sherpa who took 3rd place in IV International OCTGN Tournament)

Germanus: Congratulations for taking 3rd place in IV International OCTGN Tournament. This is a good result for you or are you disappointed ?

Sherpa: I've played in 4 octgn champ until now. And this is my best result ever, so i'm happy with my performance. I think it could be better becouse i've won against djibi in the rounds and our game was close, but i know is difficult to achieve the 1st place against such a good players

Germanus: Why do you play via Internet? What is good in this form of the game?

Sherpa: What i like of the internet way is: the easy way to make decks, quick and with all the pool of cards. The posibility to learn new strategies from other players, i've have learn a lot in octgn from the best european players. What else can i ask for?

Germanus: You played Dark Elf deck. Can you discribe your deck?

Sherpa: DE is my favourite race, my deck is an usual hand discard control deck, kill units with sasoned corsair, toxic hydra and shattered thougths, combined with hekarty.2 Desertion,3 burn it down,2 withering hex, and hand control with raiding ships, hag queen, 2 shades, 1 cold one champion, raiders to accelerate resource production and call of the kraken combined with lokhir fellheart to put a free hydra or kraken with another card to put into play dark elf infiltrator in opoonent's kingdom phase. i usually finish my oponnets milling her decks ( 2 corsair tower) or just atacking when he is controlled with raiders, hydra, lokhir, i play 3 sorceress convent to make more damage with discard actions, and a Muster for war as a restricted card, very useful in various plays when i lost the coin flip and had to play in second place, i think i played it in 3 of the rounds and i won every game it comes out except my last game against you. My deck was aklmost the same i've played in last spanish regional, but i've changed sacrifice to khaine for desertion and muster. If i have to change somethig i will take out the hag graef knights ( i have only three 2 cost tactics, and five 1 cost tactics, and 4 0 cost tactics) and include another dark elf infiltrator.

Germanus: Which game will be longer in your memory after this tournament ?

Sherpa: I think third game against djibi and his chaos deck. he won first game easily, i won 2nd in an easy way also, and third was very close trying to destroy his sorcerer in quest and control the units in raiding camps. Duels against chaos control decks are always epic.

Germanus: How looks like the Warhammer Invasion playing in Spain?

Sherpa: Righ now there are no tournaments in Spain, no regional this year ( last year we were just 4 players) is organized and game is just played in a casual way between friends. Also the official forum registers very few movements. Right now i'm not playing anymore because my play group has left the game.

Germanus: How long you play in Warhammer Invasion?

Sherpa: I play from december in 2010. And i have been spanish champion in 2012 and 2013, and participated in world championship in 2012, where i finish in 5th place and failed to enter top 4

Germanus: Thank you for this interview and see you in the virtual world.

Sherpa: Thanks for organise such a good tournament. See you

Poznaj swojego wroga - Jurassic Park

W odległe Lustrii panują człekokształtni Jaszczuroludzie. Te prymitywne stworzenia mają jednak coś wspólnego z Bretonńczykami - ubóstwiają żaby...

Talia

Skinks of Sotek         3
Spawn of Itzl                 3
Loqtza                         1
Blood Shrine of Sotek 2
Born Predators                 3
Deadly Salamander         1
Mage-Priest of Itza         3
Stealthy Skink                 3
Scar-Leader Kroq-Gar 3
Frenzied Carnosaur         3
Chameleon Stalker         3
Spawn of Sotek         3
Great Temple of Tlazcotl 2
Sun Temple of Chotec 2
Ziggurat of Quetli         2
Ruination of Cities         2
Contested Village         3
Innovation                         3
Arcane Power                 3
Remote Monastery         2
Corb Polyborg                 3
Shield of Aeons         1
